The Utility Expo will be held September 28 – 30, 2021 in Louisville, Kentucky. It has been certified by the Trade Show News Network (TSNN) as the second largest trade show in the United States. Why does that matter?
The Utility Expo is one of the best shows to view equipment for the mechanic truck industry as it is part of the utility construction industry. 2020 was a bad year, many in the industry were grounded and could not travel to trade shows, but by September 28, 2021, in-person events will hopefully be safe, and this will be a great event to view service trucks up close and hands on.
The Utility Expo is known for its on-site demonstration of vehicles and equipment. The expo helps to keep business owners and fleet managers up to speed on the latest technology and equipment in the utility industry. The show is geared towards utilities and utility contractors who work in the electric, natural gas, telecommunications/cable, vegetation management, water, and wastewater services industries.
The organizers of the expo, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, have said that in 2021 the event will focus on helping industry professionals connect better with one another, learn about the latest technologies, and hear recommendations from experts through its innovative education opportunities. At the show, education participants will be able to earn Professional Development Hours, which are easily tracked on the show app.
The Utility Expo also offers other industry certifications such as the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO).
The Expo is set up on more than 30+ acres and features more than 1,000 manufacturers of equipment and technology, including safety products. It’s a great place to network with colleagues in the industry, more than 19,000 are expected to attend.
