Iowa – The Advanced Crane Control system from Maintainer Corporation of Iowa has been enhanced with all new features, introducing the Advanced Crane Control (ACC) 2.2.
Maintainer, a leading manufacturer and marketer of high-quality service trucks has prided itself on offering the most up to date work vehicles in the industry. The upgraded Advanced Crane Control includes several new features, including automatic stability zone charts, rotate slow assist, and body collision prevention.
“Our standard Advanced Crane Control (2.1) already monitors crane lifts and will limit speed and capacity if stability is compromised,” said Director of Product Development & Reliability of Maintainer Corp, Nathan Schiermeyer. “ACC 2.2 now adds options that are designed to make life easier for the crane operator.”
The new stability zone charts increase convenience for users by automatically being programmed into the system, eliminating manual calculation of the crane’s maximum capacity. The new rotate stow assist feature saves customers time by guiding the movement of the crane to just the right position when stowing the crane back in the saddle.
One of the most neat and innovative features of the ACC is the new collision prevention feature. The system increases user safety and prevents vehicle damage by recognizing critical areas of the truck body and mounted accessories and avoiding any contact with the areas with the crane.
“The data helps operators and fleet managers protect their equipment, guide necessary training, report required maintenance, and helps operators be more efficient in the field,” said Schiermeyer.
The company, which was been successful as a reliable and responsive service truck manufacturer for the past 45 years, measures its success by the level of customer satisfaction. The company says it looks forward to seeing the impact the ACC 2.2 has on its market.
