Chart in recent quarterly chassis report illustrates long-term sales trends.
Commercial truck chassis sales in the U.S. and Mexico grew 3.3 percent in the first quarter of this year compared with the first quarter of 2018, according to a recent quarterly chassis report from the National Truck Equipment Association.
“The conventional cab segment was the primary growth driver,” noted a news alert about the report released in June 2019.
Those conventional sales rose 5.7 percent. However, non-conventional sales increased by only 0.2 percent.
Canadian truck chassis sales, meanwhile, rose 8.5 percent year over year.
