An all-new Volvo VNL is coming, scheduled to make its debut on January 23, 2024.
Volvo Trucks North America is calling its new vehicle the most important new truck in its history. Not on “one of the most important,” but “the most important.”
Hyperbole or not, Service Truck Magazine has its curiosity piqued, so we will let you know what all the hubbub is about when Volvo makes its announcement.
Volvo already has a VNL out on the market—a long-haul truck with an aerodynamic exterior and some state-of-the-art LED lighting—first introduced in 1996. Its revolutionary aerodynamic shape helped create improved fuel efficiency for the semi, and its low-profile hood and contoured features can be seen as an influence on other North American truck designs.
According to the company, this new Volvo VNL is the result of years of innovation, research, and customer feedback and is built to meet the needs and expectations of the North American trucking industry.
Said the company in its marketing: “The new VNL is more than just a truck; it is a sign of excellence and leadership in our transformational industry.”
Service Truck Magazine looks forward to its reveal.
