From Shell Lubricants comes the new Shell Rotella T6 10W-30 full synthetic heavy-duty engine oil.
The fully synthetic 10W-30 provides the benefits of a full synthetic engine oil in the fastest-growing viscosity grade for diesel-powered vehicles, with fuel economy benefits and excellent engine protection for your hard-working trucks.

The Shell Rotella T6 10W-30’s unique formulation is designed to provide better wear performance compared to conventional and synthetic blend Shell Rotella 15W-40 and 10W-30 products while also delivering improved fuel economy capability of two percent compared to SAE 15W-40 heavy-duty engine oils.
This can save money in fuel consumption, without compromising engine protection or durability. The oil also helps ensure enhanced engine protection and can help to reduce maintenance costs.
Featuring the triple protection of advanced additive technology and synthetic base oils, it protects against wear, deposits, and oil breakdown plus provides better fuel economy performance.
Shell Lubricants calls this a unique combination that will help deliver excellent equipment protection and long engine life while maintaining viscosity control under high temperatures.
The company added that the Shell Rotella T6 10W-30 offers extreme temperature protection in hot conditions and improved cold start performance in cold weather so that the oil reaches critical engine parts in cold temperatures.
The Shell Rotella T6 10W-30 offers a pour point of -49 °F and -45 °C and is an excellent choice for operators in locations with large ambient temperature ranges—a single oil to protect, regardless of the season. It can be used in place of 15W-40 engine oil in most instances.
