Truck-Lite Co., LLC, a Clarience Technologies company, has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Matt Mrakovich as Vice President of Engineering, bringing a seasoned technology strategist to the company’s ongoing push into advanced lighting and safety systems for commercial vehicles.
Truck-Lite is a global technology leader focused on forward and safety lighting, wiring harnesses, turn signals, and safety accessories for the medium- and heavy-duty truck, trailer, off-road, and commercial vehicle industries. The company is headquartered in Erie, Pennsylvania, with additional facilities in Coudersport, McElhattan, and Wellsboro, PA, and international facilities in Harlow, England, and Puebla, Mexico.
Mrakovich joins Truck-Lite after a 19-year career with GE Current (formerly GE Lighting Solutions), where he played a central role in developing new LED lighting technologies for outdoor and industrial applications. His leadership positions included Technology Leader—overseeing global product development—and Technology Strategist, where he guided innovation initiatives and growth strategies for the company’s LED portfolio. During his tenure, he helped launch multiple “Best-in-Class” product platforms and led the development of GE’s first IoT-connected outdoor lighting products.
Most recently, Mrakovich served as Vice President of Engineering at Vita-Mix Corporation, directing engineering efforts for the company’s commercial and household blending solutions.
“We are extremely fortunate to have Matt join the team at Truck-Lite,” commented Jon Stineman, President of Truck-Lite. “He brings exceptional depth of expertise to our organization as we continue introducing industry-first technologies that improve the safety and performance of our fleet customers. We are proud of our stellar reputation in the commercial vehicle industry, and the addition of Matt to our team will only strengthen it.”
Truck-Lite said Mrakovich’s arrival supports its continued focus on developing advanced visibility and safety technologies designed to protect drivers, equipment, and fleet operations.
