As Chief Risk Officer, Sather will oversee enterprise risk management, compliance programs, insurance strategy, contractual oversight, and Sims University. With more than 30 years of experience in crane, rigging, and specialized transportation, he is widely regarded as an industry authority. His certifications and leadership roles with NCCCO and ASME committees position him as a key driver of safety culture across the organization.
Taylor to Guide Data‑Driven Operational Transformation
Taylor, now Chief Business Operations Officer, will lead enterprise analytics, reporting, and data‑driven transformation initiatives across operations, billing, and customer engagement. His background in ERP (enterprise resource planning) consulting and deep expertise in IFS (industrial & financial systems) Applications and IFS Cloud support a systems‑driven approach to aligning data strategy with operational and financial performance.
Kuffermann to Direct Sales Strategy and Growth
Kuffermann, a second‑generation member of the Sims team, has been promoted to Chief Sales Officer. With more than 17 years of experience, he began his career as an apprentice and advanced through multiple roles across the company.
