Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) LLC has appointed Craig Redshaw as Head of U.S. Plant Operations, placing him in charge of manufacturing facilities in Mount Holly, North Carolina; Cleveland, North Carolina; Gastonia, North Carolina; and Portland, Oregon.
The company said the appointment is intended to strengthen collaboration across its manufacturing network as it works to meet customer demand, maintain production performance, and prepare for future manufacturing requirements.
In his new role, Redshaw will oversee key production metrics including safety, quality, and cost. He will also work with plant leadership teams to improve coordination among facilities by aligning priorities and sharing operational best practices.
According to DTNA, greater consistency across manufacturing processes and production standards is a key objective of the expanded leadership role. The company believes increased collaboration between facilities will help improve efficiency and support long-term operational goals.
“As we continue to evolve our manufacturing footprint and capabilities, Craig will help strengthen alignment across our plants and support future production requirements,” commented Jeff Allen, Senior vice president of operations and head of Daimler Truck Specialty Vehicles. “A more connected manufacturing network will help us respond to customer demand more effectively and continue improving operational performance.”
Redshaw emphasized the importance of collaboration among manufacturing teams across the company's operations.

Redshaw brings more than three decades of manufacturing experience to the position. He began his career in manufacturing in 1991 and has held leadership roles across North America. Most recently, he served as general manager of DTNA's Mount Holly and Portland truck manufacturing plants, where he led quality improvement efforts and initiatives designed to strengthen coordination between facilities.
