VMAC Global Technology Inc. has opened its 2026 State of the Mobile Compressed Air Industry Survey, inviting service truck operators, fleet managers, upfitters, and other field professionals to share insights that will help define next year’s industry benchmarks.
The annual study has become a widely used planning tool across North America, offering a detailed look at fleet makeup, compressor choices, power systems, and the business pressures shaping mobile service operations.
“Each year the State of the Mobile Compressed Air Industry Survey becomes more valuable because it reflects the industry sentiment and identifies emerging trends,” stated Tod Gilbert, President of VMAC. “Mobile compressed air remains the backbone of productivity for service vehicles, and the 2026 findings will give fleet operators and decision-makers the necessary information they need.”
The 2026 edition examines air systems used on service trucks, vans, and specialty vehicles, with a focus on shifting equipment preferences, reliability expectations, and how fleets are weighing new technologies against proven performance. VMAC said the goal is to capture real-world priorities from the people who rely on mobile air power every day.
“Understanding the real, on-the-ground priorities of mobile service fleets allows suppliers, upfitters, and operators to innovate in ways that actually matter,” commented Mike Pettigrew, VMAC Marketing Manager. “Whether it’s optimizing productivity, managing costs, or assessing new power technologies, this year’s data helps paint a clearer picture of where the industry is headed.”
Participants will receive an advance copy of the 2026 State of the Mobile Compressed Air Industry Report before it is publicly released, giving early access to key trends and operational benchmarks. The survey is now open at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2026-SOTI.
