Looking for a work truck, but can find one owing to labor disruptions, microchip shortages, and supply chain disruptions affecting the availability of manufacturing components?
Isuzu says never you mind and is now taking orders for trucks arriving at its dealerships within the next few months.
Isuzu said that over the next few months, its dealers will see new trucks—so fleets looking for vehicles should reserve one now.
Trucks expected are:
- Isuzu N-Series V-8 gas trucks, driven by an engine with an engineered design life of 200,000 miles and the only low cab forward gasoline-powered vehicle with GVWRs from 12,000 to 19,500 lbs;
- Isuzu N-Series diesel-powered trucks, equipped with the Isuzu 4HK1-TC powerplant boast a B-10 durability rating of 375,000 miles. It is now available with optional advanced driver-assist technology, including lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking with vehicle and pedestrian detection;
- The all-new Isuzu F-Series, powered by the proven Cummins B6.7 diesel engine and available in both Class 6 and new Class 7 models with GVWRs up to 33,000 lbs.
Isuzu said that each of these trucks will maintain the usual high standard of superb maneuverability, visibility, durability, and low cost of ownership. It’s why, said Isuzu, its trucks have been the best-selling low cab forward trucks in the US since 1986.
