Working trucks took the spotlight at the 44th annual SuperRigs competition, held June 25–27, 2026, at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee.
The event brought together owner-operators from across the United States and Canada, all competing in what is widely regarded as the premier truck beauty contest for actively working units.
Kenny Ziglar II of Rawlins, Wyoming, earned top honors for the second consecutive year, capturing Best of Show with his 2007 Peterbilt 379, “Scrapin By.” The win earned him a $10,000 prize. His truck also finished second in the Best Lights category, further demonstrating its balance of presentation and detail.
David Calabrese secured the Best of Show first runner-up position with his 2022 Peterbilt, along with a $4,000 award. His truck also stood out mechanically and inside the cab, winning both Best Engine and Best Interior. Jeffrey Dills followed as second runner-up with his 2007 Peterbilt, earning $2,000.
Across the competition, additional first-place winners reflected the diversity of today’s working truck builds. Kaleb Hammett claimed top honors in the Tractor/Trailer Division and won Best Chrome for his 2015 Peterbilt, while Brad Harminson took first place in the Tractor Division with a 2020 Peterbilt. Cody Warner’s 2022 Peterbilt led the Specialized Working Truck category, highlighting equipment designed for specific operational roles.
In the Classic Division, John T Barker III earned top honors with a 1997 Peterbilt, while Kilian Flanary received the Steve Sturgess Award for his 1992 BMY. Jeremy Houghtailing captured the Best Theme award for his 2024 Kenworth, and Joshua Teel’s 2001 Peterbilt earned Best Lights. Ronnie Millsaps won the Best Show Truck award with a 1969 Peterbilt.
Fan engagement remained a key part of the event. Justin Speece won the People’s Choice Award for his 2003 Peterbilt through online voting. For each vote cast, a $10 donation was made to the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, adding a charitable component to the competition.
In total, more than $25,000 in cash and prizes were awarded, along with MyMilesMatter reward miles from the Shell Rotella loyalty program. Twelve drivers were also selected to have their trucks featured in the 2027 SuperRigs calendar.
