Stellar Industries, a 100 percent employee-owned American manufacturer, took part in the second Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) Celebration of Construction on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., held from May 14–16, 2025.
This national event highlights advancements in the construction sector, and Stellar proudly displayed three of its signature American-made products, underscoring its commitment to innovation and quality.
A standout among the showcased products was the TMAX 1-11 Aluminum Mechanic Truck. Known for its lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum build, this vehicle offers enhanced payload and fuel efficiency. It features Stellar’s unique torq-isolator crane support system, which separates crane stress from the storage compartments, improving durability. Additionally, its extruded aluminum top includes drill-free mounting rails for flexible accessory additions, making customization simple and efficient.
Stellar also presented its NXT18 Hooklift, a high-capacity, 18,000-lb system engineered for versatility. With a 7.5" lost load height and bolt-on body locks, it fits various chassis. The hooklift includes a universal latching system, hydraulic reservoir, and speed-enhancing components. Optional air or radio remote controls provide operators with precision handling and increased convenience.
The third feature was the TM6116/13500 Large OTR Tire Service Truck, purpose-built for tire technicians handling heavy off-the-road tires. It can carry tires up to 116" in diameter and weighing up to 6,000 lbs. Without the manipulator, the truck can lift 13,500 lbs at 10 feet from the rotation center. Its fold-down stabilizers with a wide stance deliver outstanding stability and ease of maintenance.
These innovations reflect Stellar’s dedication to American craftsmanship. The company’s products are designed to serve industries central to US infrastructure development.
“We were thrilled to be a part of the Celebration of Construction on the National Mall, showcasing our American-made products,” said Dave Zrostlik, President of Stellar. “It was especially rewarding to show our customers in the nation’s capital how Stellar, a company born in the heart of rural Iowa, is helping to build and maintain the infrastructure that drives our economy. We truly believe that Stellar is a great example of the American dream—a company that started small and continues to make a big impact across the country.”
