Stellar Industries and its employees raised $40,368 and donated it during the holiday season to the United Way of North Central Iowa.
Stellar, founded in 1990 in Garner, Iowa, is a 100 percent employee-owned and -operated manufacturer of high-quality mechanic and service trucks, service cranes, service truck and van accessories, tire trucks and manipulators, hooklifts, fuel and lube trucks, trailers, and more.
The company worked with its employees to give back to the local Iowa community after employees raised over $20,000, matching it for the donation.
Stellar’s annual donation to United Way of North Central Iowa is a reminder of the company’s commitment to the communities they call home. In 2024, Stellar also contributed to local initiatives, including donating a UR10 collaborative robot to North Iowa Area Community College’s (NIACC) Industrial Automation and Robotics Technology (IART) program, a substantial monetary donation to a local childcare center in Garner, and more.
“Charitable giving has always been a priority for Stellar and our employees,” said David Zrostlik, President of Stellar. “To once again be able to provide a wonderful organization with funds raised by our dedicated employees is truly an honor.”
Stellar channels its corporate giving toward initiatives in communities, social services, and education. The company currently operates facilities in Garner, Kanawha, and Mason City, Iowa; Hastings, Nebraska; Galion, Ohio; and Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
