Shell Rotella SuperRigs—the international truck beauty contest—has driven into Gillette, Wyoming, as of June 8, running through June 10, at CAM-PLEX (off of Interstate 90).
The 2023 event’s theme is Big Rigs, Big Competition, Big Country, with truck drivers throughout North America having the opportunity to enter the annual truck beauty contest that celebrates the hardworking trucking community.
“The incredible trucks entered each year are a testament to the drivers that put in the hard work to make them a source of pride for the trucking industry. We’re excited to see what this year’s competition has in store,” said Heather Duffey, the Global Commercial Road Transport Integrated Communications Manager for Shell Rotella.
Numerous events and activities are being planned that will honor the shared spirit of cowboys and truckers. SuperRigs contestants, their families, and the community will be able to see some of the best-looking and hardest-working big rigs in North America, all while enjoying some family fun throughout the three-day event.
Next week, Service Truck Magazine will have the final results of the competitions (plural), so we can see which owners and operators take home the big-money prizes and, more importantly, bragging rights.
As well, 12 drivers will be selected to have their trucks featured in the 2024 Shell Rotella SuperRigs calendar. There is no fee to enter SuperRigs, and the weekend is designed to be fun for the whole family.
