RIZON has unveiled a new service combo body for its all-electric commercial truck lineup, giving service fleets a zero-emission option that combines secure tool storage with a spacious cargo bed.
The new configuration is designed for businesses that need to transport tools, equipment, and materials while maintaining the functionality commonly found in traditional service trucks.
According to the company, the service combo body can be configured with a variety of vocational equipment, including cranes, ladder racks, generators, lift gates, and work lighting. The flexibility allows fleets to tailor the truck to application-specific needs without sacrificing payload capacity or operational capability.
“Commercial vehicle customers have been asking for an electric truck that doesn’t require them to change how they work,” said Alex Voets, General Manager of RIZON USA. “This new combo body delivers the familiar functionality fleets rely on, now on a zero-emission RIZON chassis.”
The introduction of the service combo body expands the range of applications available for RIZON’s battery-electric truck platform. Service contractors, utility providers, municipalities, and maintenance operations are among the potential users that could benefit from the combination of cargo hauling and secure equipment storage in a single vehicle.
RIZON noted that eligible truck purchasers may also qualify for incentive programs designed to accelerate commercial vehicle electrification. The company said its trucks currently qualify for California’s Clean Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) and Washington’s Zero-Emission Incentive Program (WAZIP). Depending on eligibility requirements and program guidelines, point-of-sale vouchers can range from $60,000 to $130,000.
The company also highlighted its OEM (original equipment manufacturer) heritage, noting that the trucks are manufactured by a global OEM with decades of commercial vehicle experience and more than five million miles of electric driving experience.
Additional features include RIZONCONNECT connectivity services, an integrated active safety system, warranty coverage, and financing options intended to simplify fleet adoption of battery-electric vehicles.
