On November 3, 2025, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced a recall affecting 8,857 2024-25 Mack Granite trucks.
Mack Trucks, Inc. is recalling certain 2024-2025 Granite trucks equipped with LED headlights that could possibly fail. With the reduction in visibility, the risk of a crash is possible.
Dealers will replace the LED headlights, free of charge.
Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is SC0485.
Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning November 10, 2025.
