New from Lincoln Electric, the Frontier 400X engine-driven welder/generator provides operators with a best-in-class arc performance and welding innovation all rolled up into one.
The Frontier 400X has the first-ever next-gen display to offer operator-focused features like save and recall weld parameter memories, maintenance reminders, and optional PIN user authorization.
And it has power, too—capable of up to 400 amps of DC multi-process welding, 120/240 VAC single phase, and 240 VAC three phase auxiliary power.
The machine provides a bright and durable 7-inch operator display screen, and is powered by a 24.7 horsepower Perkins 403F-15T diesel engine with patented Chopper and CrossLinc technologies. CrossLinc Technology allows the adjustment of machine output at the arc to promote productivity, site safety, and overall weld quality.
Its multi-process capabilities give optimized CC and CV modes, as well as other specialized modes that support mechanized equipment and advanced GMAW applications including STT and pulse welding.
The Frontier 400X also has Auto-Stop/Start tech to reduce engine idling to provide fuel savings and wear on the engine.
