Augusta, Georgia – Club Car has launched Club Car Current, its all new fully electric utility vehicle designed for low-speed logistics and cargo services in any area.
In partnership with ARYO Inc, Club Car, the leading manufacturer of gas and electric golf, utility, and personal transportation vehicles, has developed the new Club Car Current to be equipped with automotive features and comforts like never before. The vehicle itself is sized to fill the gap between full-sized service trucks and smaller utility carts, providing consumers with that medium to handle the big jobs while being easy to handle.
“We are excited about the all-new Current vehicle and the specific enhancements to boost performance and comfort,” said Brant Mitchell, Commercial Portfolio Leader of Club Car.
The current is offered in three different bed configurations: a flat bed, pickup, or van box. Additionally, the vehicle’s versatility is demonstrated by its ability to carry accessories such as ladder racks and lift gates. Despite its abundance of tools, the club car current can still travel up to 57 miles and has a 72V AC electric powertrain, showcasing its flexibility as a service vehicle.
The Current has a modern exterior design, with specially designed automotive body panels, LED lighting, new seating, upgraded heating system, better equipped rear view camera, and many other new features.
“As a leader in small electric vehicles, Club Car is well positioned to drive growth in emerging market segments, looking for sustainable, electric vehicles that are easy to operate. The new Club Car Current is a great solution for companies looking for alternatives to gas vehicles that allows their work crews to get the job done,” said Mitchell.
