Guardian Mobile Express is Vanguard Truck Centers’ new mobile division built to deliver fast, on‑site repair and maintenance directly to commercial trucks and fleets.
The program is designed to reduce downtime by shifting appropriate service work out of the shop and into the field, allowing trucks to stay where they are needed most. Vanguard said the goal is to help customers “maximize uptime and minimize costly downtime” by bringing service directly to their location.
The division launches in Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia, supported by an express lane in Valdosta, Georgia, with expansion into Houston, Texas planned.
These markets were selected for their concentration of freight activity and the need for rapid‑response mobile diesel support. By positioning technicians along major transportation corridors, Vanguard aims to shorten response times and provide consistent access to mobile repair capabilities.
Guardian Mobile Express technicians are equipped to perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, lighting and electrical repairs, mudflap and exterior equipment replacement, belt and drive system service, minor warranty repairs, and software campaign updates. Each service is completed on‑site to help fleets avoid towing fees, reduce shop wait times, and keep vehicles road‑ready.
The new division operates alongside Vanguard’s existing full‑service mobile support. Guardian Mobile Express handles mobile repair and preventative maintenance, while Vanguard’s broader service network continues to manage advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and heavy‑duty shop work. This structure ensures customers receive the right level of service without unnecessary delays or unplanned downtime.
The launch reflects growing demand for faster, more flexible service solutions across the trucking industry. Many fleets are sidelined for issues that can be resolved in the field, and Guardian Mobile Express is designed to address those gaps by deploying skilled technicians directly to customer sites. The division is positioned for continued growth, with future expansion planned for additional high‑demand regions to strengthen coverage and improve response times.
