Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp. has secured a purchase order valued at more than $3 million from Stevens Transport, marking one of the most comprehensive single‑fleet adoptions of the company’s lithium‑based idle‑reduction and power‑management systems to date.
Dragonfly Energy, headquartered in Reno, Nevada, is a lithium battery technology company specializing in cell manufacturing, battery pack assembly, and full system integration. Through its Battle Born Batteries brand, the company has deployed hundreds of thousands of battery packs across OEM and retail markets. Dragonfly Energy is advancing domestic lithium cell production through its patented dry‑electrode manufacturing process and continues to develop non-flammable, all‑solid‑state battery technologies.
Stevens Transport is a premier refrigerated transportation company, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. It services a prestigious list of Fortune 500 companies, specializing in transporting time-sensitive, temperature-controlled, and dry-expedited commodities across the US, Canada, and Mexico. For over 45 years, Stevens has been recognized as an industry leader in the logistics and supply chain arena, offering multi-modal transportation solutions, and has never had a layoff.
The Stephens Transport order represents one of the largest and most comprehensive single-fleet adoptions of Dragonfly Energy's heavy-duty trucking platform to date.
The agreement covers Dragonfly Energy’s full heavy‑duty trucking product portfolio, reflecting a progression from earlier pilot deployments to scaled fleet integration. The company stated that the order is part of the increasing demand for its integrated lithium-based solutions designed to reduce idling, improve driver comfort, and lower the total cost of ownership.
Included in the order are three Battle Born‑branded systems:
- Battle Born DualFlow Power Pack

It is available in deep in‑frame and side‑box configurations, provides full hotel‑load capability for HVAC, appliances, and onboard electronics. In the photo above, it is installed on a Stevens Transport truck.
- The Battle Born Inverter

It supplies clean AC power with high surge capability for demanding loads.
These systems enable fleets to eliminate engine idling during rest periods while meeting higher onboard power demands.
Dragonfly Energy leadership stated that the order validates both the performance and economic value of its technology.
“We believe this order is a meaningful validation of both the performance and economic value of our technology,” said Denis Phares, Chief Executive Officer of Dragonfly Energy. “Fleet operators are under continued pressure to reduce operating costs while improving reliability and driver experience.”
Stevens Transport called its decision to expand adoption across its fleet was based on real‑world performance.
“After partnering with Dragonfly Energy and seeing the performance of their systems across our fleet, expanding to their full product suite was a straightforward decision,” said Clay Aaron, President of Stevens Transport. “In a year when every capital dollar counts, these systems are delivering the fuel savings, uptime, and driver satisfaction that justify the investment.”
Dragonfly Energy said the order reflects broader momentum in hybrid electrification strategies, particularly among fleets seeking immediate operational savings without full vehicle electrification. Its platform is designed for compatibility across multiple OEMs and is now being deployed at scale.
“We’ve developed a complete, scalable platform that is now being deployed across nearly 500 trucks and designed to integrate seamlessly across multiple OEM platforms,” commented Wade Seaburg, Chief Commercial Officer.
