The company supports customers with manufacturing, service, parts, and technical expertise across multiple regions.
The company said its manufacturing operation has continued to scale since announcing a major investment in late 2024, reinforcing long‑term demand for skilled technicians and industrial manufacturing talent.
According to Central Power Systems & Services, the Platte City facility now employs 359 team members, a sharp increase from previous years. The company outlined a clear growth trajectory: 53 manufacturing employees in May 2024, 249 in May 2025, and 359 by May 2026. Leadership said this rapid hiring reflects both operational needs and the strength of Missouri’s manufacturing sector.
The company noted that the expansion is also generating measurable benefits for the surrounding community. Of the facility’s 359 employees, 117 live within 15 miles of the plant, and roughly 11 percent live within seven miles. That concentration, the company said, pushes payroll dollars directly into local restaurants, retailers, service providers, and schools throughout Platte County.
Local economic leaders echoed that impact. Tina Chance, Executive Director of the Platte Economic Development Council, said Central Power Systems & Services represents a home‑grown success story with deep community ties and a commitment to local hiring.
Beyond workforce growth, the company continues to invest heavily in regional suppliers and service providers. Central Power Systems & Services said it directs approximately $144 million annually to Greater Kansas City‑area businesses and $193 million across the Kansas‑Missouri region. That spending supports manufacturers, logistics firms, contractors, and skilled operations throughout the Midwest.
