AP Fleet Management is expanding its remarketing program, introducing new tools and support aimed at helping fleet operators more efficiently sell used vehicles and maximize resale value.
AP Fleet Management offers rental, leasing, and financing solutions for a wide range of fleet vehicles. The company is part of AP Equipment Financing, founded in 1998, and is backed by Tokyo Century Corporation, which manages a global fleet of more than 750,000 vehicles.
The expansion includes the launch of an online vehicle listing portal, giving fleet managers a centralized place to browse available inventory and connect with remarketing services. The move is designed to simplify the resale process as fleets face increasing pressure to manage assets more strategically across their lifecycle.
“Our customers trust us to help them get the most out of their fleet investment at every stage of the vehicle lifecycle. With the growth of our remarketing program, we’re giving them a dedicated team, proven sales channels, and the market expertise to turn end of life vehicles into real cash flow,” stated Brandon Campbell, AP Fleet Management’s Remarketing Manager.
The updated program provides end-to-end support, starting with vehicle evaluation and pricing strategy. From there, AP Fleet Management handles logistics, including pickup and transport, before moving units through multiple sales channels such as auctions, dealer networks, and direct-to-customer opportunities.
By managing the process from start to finish, the company aims to reduce the workload on fleet managers while improving speed to sale and overall return. Once a vehicle is sold, payment is processed quickly, helping fleets reinvest capital back into operations.
The expansion reflects a growing focus on remarketing as a core part of fleet management rather than a final step. With tighter margins and higher equipment costs, fleets are placing more emphasis on extracting value from assets throughout their lifecycle.
