And there’s still time for more.
The AEM has announced it has set a record for the largest membership in the association’s 125-plus-year history.
It's not easy to grow membership, as companies may go out of business, or they purchase the competition and amalgamate. And yet the AEM has achieved an above-average member retention rate of 92 percent.
In 2024 alone, 109 member companies have joined AEM—with 22 new companies added in September. And there’s still more than two months left on the calendar.
The addition of the new companies has pushed AEM’s membership up over the 1,100 mark for the first time in the association’s history.
“For the second straight year, we’re proud to achieve a record-breaking level of membership as we continue to build on our past successes, serve our member companies, and speak with one voice on behalf of equipment manufacturing,” explained Paul Flemming, the AEM Vice President of Sales and Membership.
“Thank you to all our members—whether they’re new to AEM or longtime supporters—and our talented staff at the association for making 2024 our most successful year yet.”
The AEM is the leading organization in North America that advances construction and agriculture equipment manufacturers, and their value chain partners in the global marketplace. In enabling growth together, AEM and its members build momentum for the equipment manufacturing industry and the markets it serves.
