Hunter Engineering has introduced its latest tire-changing innovation, the TCX53Pro, combining the proven TCXH chassis with the strength and safety of Hunter’s exclusive hybrid leverless head.
The TCX53Pro is engineered to offer advanced features and enhanced productivity, all within the comfort of a swing-arm style design. TCX53Pro also comes equipped with a locking lower disc and dual upper press rollers, giving technicians the ability to service a wide range of tires, from 19.5-inch commercial tires to the latest electric vehicle fitments.
A standout feature of the TCX53Pro is its hybrid leverless tool head, which boasts a unique tilting lip. This design ensures the bead stays securely in place during demounting while its rounded shape minimizes the risk of tire damage.
Additionally, the winged polymer head eliminates the need for protective inserts and helps keep the bead stable during mounting.
Built to outperform other machines in its class, the TCX53Pro is heavier, sturdier, and delivers up to 50 percent more torque. This combination leads to faster operation and less machine flex, allowing shops to easily handle challenging tire and wheel combinations, from performance vehicles to heavy-duty trucks and SUVs.
The tire changer also offers a table-top clamping range of 10 to 28 inches, along with Hunter’s PowerOut bead breaker and a 220V two-speed rotation feature.
“The new TCX53Pro is a unique combination of premium features in a time-tested, familiar format,” said Jim Hudson, Hunter’s Product Manager for Tire Changers. “The hybrid head and lower locking disc make it much easier and safer to change tough tires on a simple, rugged swing arm tire changer.”
“It’s a great mash-up of power, speed simplicity, and safety that makes it a great machine for almost every shop,” Hudson added.
