Coxreels has expanded its reel accessory lineup with the introduction of the SMK-702 Series swivel mounting brackets, a new accessory designed for the company’s 100 Series hose reels and V-100 Series vacuum reels.
Manufactured in the United States from heavy-gauge steel, the SMK-702 Series provides 360-degree reel rotation, helping operators position reels for more efficient hose payout and rewind operations. The brackets feature a gloss-black powder-coat finish intended to withstand demanding work environments.
According to the company, the bracket’s offset design allows the reel to track automatically in the direction of hose payout when the unit is unlocked. An ergonomic pin-lock mechanism can then secure the reel in multiple fixed positions as needed.
The SMK-702 Series also incorporates a full-length vertical bearing and a stability thrust bearing designed to provide smooth operation and long service life.
Two versions of the bracket are available. The SMK-702-8 is designed for 8-inch drum width 100 Series reels, including models such as the 112-3-100 and 117-3-250.
The larger SMK-702-12.5 accommodates 12.5-inch drum width 100 Series reels, including the 112-3-150, 117-3-400, 112-4-75, 117-4-225, and 117-5-100. It is also compatible with all V-100 Series vacuum reels, including the V-112-730, V-117-835, and V-117-850.
The company said the new accessory is part of its ongoing effort to expand the range of options available to customers using heavy-duty reel systems in commercial and industrial applications.
