We missed out, but that doesn’t mean you have to.
In the most recent issue of Service Truck Magazine (March/April 2023), the Spec My Truck feature on pages 16-17 in the February/March 2023 issue, we neglected to mention the name of the manufacturer of a really cool tool on Aaron Morgan’s beautiful yellow truck.
The manufacturer of the “silver bars below the front compartment” is CARR, an American manufacturer of safety and accessibility accessories for work trucks, like deployable steps, flip-down steps, ergonomic grab handles, etc.
And that’s what the “silver bars” are—fold-down steps that, in the case of Morgan’s truck, provide access to the higher-up compartments on his service truck.
Yup… that’s one cool tool. And we regret not noting CARR as the manufacturer within the article.
The CARR Deployable Work Truck Steps are always a favorite of the owner-operators because they reduce the stress and strain when accessing tools and materials from their rig.
For the manufacturer, its goal is to help technicians go home after a hard day's work the way they started – safely, and that’s aces in our book.
By the way, Morgan’s big yellow truck will be appearing at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023 show in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 14-18.
